Welcome to the world Sweet Shepherd

It is always an honor when another photographer asks you to take pictures for them. Especially for such an amazing time as capturing their new baby. Hours after birth. This Fresh 48 session was so sweet as I got to witness Shepherd’s two big sisters meeting him for the first time! They were in love. I will never get tired of taking part in watching families grow, and celebrating the joy of new life. Here’s a little video of his amazing Fresh 48 session. He was born photogenic. Just as a photographer’s offspring should be.

Just a little over a week later, it was time for Shepherd’s Newborn session. And he was totally on point for that session too. I love working in my client’s homes, as it gives me a chance to see what their style is, and incorporate it in baby’s session. I grabbed some baskets, buckets, blankets, and greenery from around the house to help personalize the session. It’s always fun to see what we can do!

I can’t overstate how amazing it is to do both Fresh 48 AND Newborn sessions for my clients. These little wonders change so, so fast. And the emotion and images for both sessions are so uniquely amazing! I am so grateful for the chance to work with this sweet boy and his family.
