Let’s talk about Newborn Sessions!
When it comes to newborn sessions, I know it can be overwhelming trying to decide which type of session is best for you and your sweet new little family.
So let me walk you through the basics, and then the details for each session offered.
I prefer to do newborn sessions when babies are in that sweet sleepy spot under 2 weeks. However, I will always try and work with older babies when needed, and if your baby was born a few weeks (or months) early; that 2 week frame may not apply since babies typically act their gestational age for sessions. Meaning if baby was born 4 weeks early, we are safe to still try to do the session when they are 6 weeks early. If baby was born full term, and tends to be on the bigger side; I’m going to try to get you in as soon as possible.
As much as possible, I want to get you booked well in advance of your due date, but I know life happens, and you may not get around to booking until baby is already arrived. I always try to get last minute bookings in, but I can’t ever promise that your preferred time frame will be available if I’m not contacted earlier.
To book your session, simply contact me with your due date, name, and number, and I’ll send over a contract, questionnaire, and invoice for your deposit to hold your spot. As we get closer to your due date, I’ll have you keep me posted in case your doctor or midwife deems a induction or c-section needed, so I can stay in the loop. We will not schedule the exact date of your newborn session until baby is born, and your are settled at home.
