With all we’ve had to adapt to and change the past few years; one of the hardest things for me was to have to say goodbye to Fresh 48 sessions for a long season. As a newborn photographer here in the Dallas metroplex; these sessions had become such a huge part of my “why” for doing what I do as a photographer.

Babies change so fast. I know people say this all the time; but those first few days when they are fresh, wrinkly, and so tiny. Even just a week later as they start to fill out, those memories of that just born baby already start to fade.

Being one of the first people to meet these new humans is such an honor. I missed these sessions so, so much. More so, I was heartbroken for the families who could not only have Fresh 48 photographer OR Newborn photographers able to step into their lives when we were shut down.

Because of this long pause; I am so excited to be able to offer Fresh 48 sessions again. Most hospitals in the DFW area are allowing more visitors which is making it possible for me to step back in and document some of the most amazing moments as moms and dads start their journey into parenthood.

If you are interested in booking; you’ll just need to check with your provider to make sure they are currently allowing enough visitors to make it possible. Even more so than newborns; it is imperative to book as soon as possible to make sure of availability. I will always have backup photographer to recommend in the event I am unable to be there. Since babies come in their own time, and the amount of time in the hospital can vary; I can never guarantee that I will be there. But I will also not book a session if I don’t think there is a high probability I can be there.

I cannot wait to meet so many new humans this year, and help celebrate their little lives as they enter the world.
